Mosvold Hotels luxury Beach Villas

This hotel only has a small number of rooms which helps... read more it create the perfect combination of a relaxed, intimate vibe with easy access to everything you could want - a perfect beach, surfing, bars and restaurants.

The rooms are incredibly spacious, clean and comfortable. You will sleep well here. You may get some noise from the road but it is minor and certainly didn't disturb my sleep or the chilled vibe. You will hear the waves of the ocean more than anything else. Being able to walk straight onto the beach from the hotel is a real positive.

What really sets Mosvold Villa apart is the hospitality of its staff who are all diligent and friendly. It makes the place feel like a home. Mr Dinesh works tirelessly to enhance the experience of all the guests. He made sure I had everything I needed and he was readily on hand to help arrange bookings, surfing lessons, transport and offer advice on places to visit and things to do.

Mr Dinshan served me during meal times and he was exceptional. He was polite and he was diligent in his service with a very keen eye for detail. Nothing was ever too much trouble and his focus was always on making guests feel at home and relaxed. He was always on hand to offer advice on which Sri Lankan dishes to try and he even arranged with the chef to make a special Sri Lankan meal on my last night which was delicious!

We were well taken care of and really cannot complain... read more about anything. We stayed for 3 nights at the suite. The staff were very friendly and quick to respond to our requests. The food was delicious. They provided set-menu option for meals which was to our liking.

The views from Mosvold are totally Insta-worthy and the food doesn’t always make it to Instagram because it tastes as good as it looks, and vanishes pretty fast!
The staff are so friendly and helpful & makes the stay there so pleasant. Whether it’s a late evening swim, or just gazing out into the beach, or walking around the beautiful garden at the Villa, you can’t help but feel relaxed at Mosvold. It’s the perfect place to kick back and unwind.

What made this place, even more special was the staff. From the Manager to the waiting staff all of whom were extremely attentive and were ready to oblige at all times. Hassan deserves special mention for his personal attention to detail and our comfort.
The weather wasn’t great but that didn’t deter the staff from trying. They did everything to arrange a meal on the beach but when it started raining, they made sure that everything was arranged indoors without any hesitation.
The food was excellent with the kitchen staff going to great lengths to ensure service on time without compromising on quality.
