Mosvold Hotels luxury Beach Villas

The deluxe... read more room was spacious, beautifully decorated, stunning bathroom and the most effective aircon we have ever experienced! The 4 poster bed was so comfortable we found it hard to get up! Really appreciated the eco friendly touches of no single use plastic, glass water bottles, big bottle bathroom toiletries, things wrapped in paper not plastic, metal straws etc - thank you guys for making the steps to reduce plastic waste! The whole hotel was spotlessly clean including the gorgeous pool that was great to swim lengths in. The seaviews are to die for and you can walk to a clean, safe sandy beach that is suitable for beginners surf. The food was out of this world and really varied, in some ways we didn't want to ever check out but thought we better before they would have to roll us through the door! The chef even made us a special dinner one evening of a banana leaf baked fish which was very much appreciated by us. Each and every member of staff was courteous and made us feel right at home. From the first contact with Mr Dinesh until... read more the moment of departure, everything went perfectly. The hotel is small and very intimate, it's like being at home. The rooms are very spacious, refined, clean and with all the amenities, with an incredible view over the beach. For our stay we have chosen half board and I can say that the Chef has always prepared the best food you will taste in Sri Lanka. For those who are surfers like us and want to enjoy the best spots, there is no better place. We appreciate all the care and attention given by Mr Dinesh, Shafraz and the entire team. Beyond the relaxing atmosphere of the villa, the next best part was the fantastic food and excellent service . Manager Dinesh and The other staff was very attentive, professional and friendly. All precautions were taken to make our stay safe during the pandemic. Thank you team Mosvold ❤️

This resort was very professionally run but... read more with all the comfort and warmth. We were particularly impressed with the reception accorded to us by Dilruksha.

Resort has a quiet and clean beach. Swimming pool was well maintained.

We all were wined and dined well by Hassan and Issac who were always cheerful.

Will return to this place and resort soon with more family and friends.
