DM-HR is responsible for providing first-class employee relation services to the hotel to deliver
an excellent staff experience. Also required to manage succession planning and assist the Head
of HR – Group with strategic development. Specifically, you will be responsible for performing
the following tasks to the highest standards:
- Ensure hiring of staff [local & expats] is completed in line with the manning budget and within the agreed timeline whilst adhering with company standards.
- Being responsible for all the steps in hiring process by ensuring right talents are in place including job postings
- Training analysis, identify training gaps, design training modules and conducting orientation / training programs.
- Closely monitor staff progression in terms of the learning curve.
- Promote & maintain high disciplinary climate in the Organization whilst complying with the company standards and well conversant with labour laws.
- Grievance handling, inquiries and executing disciplinary management process.
- Provide required statics, management reports as and when required.
- Conduct periodic HR audits and make preventive and corrective actions for findings.
- Oversee and manage the performance appraisal system that drives high performance and analyse the results against the set standards.
- Work with internal stakeholders across the Group and ensure smooth employee relation culture in the organisation.
- Overlook payroll, ensure accuracy and timely delivery
R E Q U I R E M E N T S & Q U A L I F I C A T I O N S
- Degree in HRM from a recognised university or PQHRM from a recognised institute.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar capacity and mandatory working experience in the hotel industry.
- Excellent communication skills in English both verbal and written together with interpersonal skills.
- Solid organisational skills with ability to balance multiple tasks simultaneously with a positive attitude.
- Excellent team player with an outstanding personality able to connect with all levels across the Organization.
- Ability to work independently and taking high level of initiatives.
- Excellent command of both, English & Sinhala (written and oral)
- Female in age between 30 – 35 years
- Computer Literacy
