OPERATIONS MANAGER

We are looking for an experienced Operations Manager to oversee the entire operations at Outpost Lanka, including building and facilities, security, access management systems, procedure development with excellent people management skills to create memorable experiences beyond expectations.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Oversee the operational performance in accordance with the vision and mission of the company.
Develop and manage operational strategies aligning with the business direction.
Maintain brand standards and Hotel SOP’s effectively.
Develop strong community and public relations.
Control and oversee the procurement, purchasing procedures in accordance with the SOP’s and Company policies.
Monitor and evaluate the performance of all departments including security to ensure the standard levels of the
services.
Monitor, control and coordinate the systems and operational procedures within all departments as per the
company guidelines.
Ensure space allocations and necessary services are provided on time, to facilitate the highest member experiences
in effectively and efficiently in order to resolve member complaints swiftly.
Streamline strategies and operational cost in order to achieve the efficiency of projects whilst controlling the
approved budget.
Organize and daily inspect the maintenance schedules of all the departments, preventive maintenance including
external service providers with the aim to provide the best member experiences.
Deliver monthly reports to the management.
Ensure staff retention, discipline, and growth opportunities.
Ability to manage situations on the ground including critical staffing issues.

REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS

A degree in Hotel Management or professional qualification of the relevant field from a reputed professional body.
Possess minimum 10 years working experience in the similar capacity with a strong operational knowledge.
Excellent communication skills both spoken and written in Sinhala and English.
Male in the age group of 30 – 35
Strong leadership skills, enthusiastic with a positive attitude to lead all operational work effectively and efficiently.
Strong multitasking and effective time management skills for timely delivery of required results.
Demonstrate high levels of integrity, ownership and attention to detail.
Able to work in multicultural environment under pressure.
